The <profileDesc>, the description of the profile of the text we are publishing, is very important, and we will need to fill out each of the sections with the specific configuration of each edition.

It has five parts:

• <creation>: information on the data relating to the creation of the edited text.
• <particDesc>: information on the author or authors of the edited text.
• <langUsage>: languages used in the edition. That is, the language of the original text and those of the translations that are added.
• <textDesc>: a description to be used to catalogue the type of text that we are publishing.
• <textClass>: to indicate the literary genre and the category to which the edited text can be ascribed.
