Editorial Diacritic Marks

Diacritical marks (spurious verses, intercalations, additions, seclusions, etc.), which are usually indicated in traditional critical editions by angle brackets, square brackets, and other symbols (the system of Leiden Conventionsare not identified in our editions by writing these symbols directly, but rather, each has a label that identifies it semantically: <supplied>, <secl>, <unclear>, <gap/>, etc. The symbols themselves will appear in the final presentations as appropriate for each label.
