Additions:

To indicate that our reference edition restores a text or letter omitted by the textual tradition we use angle brackets: "in my text that word".

The

<supplied>
<supplied> tag records these additions to the transmitted text. It has the following syntax:

Plain text
Copy to clipboard
Open code in new window
EnlighterJS 3 Syntax Highlighter
<supplied source="#editorquesea">texto que el editor añade</supplied>
<supplied source="#editorquesea">texto que el editor añade</supplied>
<supplied source="#editorquesea">texto que el editor añade</supplied>

The

@source
@source attribute is optional, but it is useful to specify it if our edition is based on more than one reference edition.

If the

<supplied>
<supplied> tag bypasses the nesting hierarchy (within a number of verses, for example), use the system described in Syntax of the Diacritical Marks, with the attribute
@unit="supplied"
@unit="supplied" for the tag
<milestone/>
<milestone/>.

How can we help?
