Direct quotations from one text within another, or any quotation in general that needs to be placed in a different paragraph within another, are indicated with <quote><\/code>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A <quote><\/code> can contain any type of text, in prose or verse, and will be tagged with the corresponding structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But if, in addition to the quoted text, we need the quotation to include the bibliographic reference of that text, we use the <cit><\/code>tag, which will include the <quote><\/code> with the text and a <bibl><\/code> with the referencecf. <bibl><\/a>). In this way:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Editions of fragmentary texts must include one of these <cit><\/code> for each edited fragment (cf. Structure of a Fragmentary Text<\/a>). But they can also appear in the context of our commentaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The internal order of the <quote><\/code> and <bibl><\/code> tags within a <cit><\/code> is free, and they can appear as needed for each context:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
