Each work has its own traditional numbering and we must respect the one indicated in our reference edition.<\/li><li><code data-enlighter-language=\"xml\" class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">@xml:id<\/code>the unique identifier of each division. This is essential for aligning original text and translations. They must always carry the <a href=\"http:\/\/thebarumfabula.usc.es\/en\/guidelines\/primeros-pasos\/etiquetas-tei-xml\/los-atributos-xmlid-y-xmllang\/#xml-lang\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/thebarumfabula.usc.es\/guidelines\/primeros-pasos\/etiquetas-tei-xml\/los-atributos-xmlid-y-xmllang\/#xml-lang\">language prefix<\/a> followed by the canonical numbering, and must be identical in all versions of the text that are published, with the exception of the language prefix.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to generate a table of contents of the edition (and thus facilitate navigation through the document), we need to insert a title <code data-enlighter-language=\"xml\" class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">&lt;head&gt;<\/code> <a href=\"http:\/\/thebarumfabula.usc.es\/en\/guidelines\/etiquetas-importantes\/titulos-head\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"1543\">(cf. &lt;head&gt;)<\/a> as the first tag within the <code data-enlighter-language=\"xml\" class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">&lt;div&gt;<\/code> that we want to appear in the index.
