<purpose><\/code>: indicates the purpose or communicative function of the text. Attributes can be free, e.g.:

- express –\u00a0<\/strong>self expression, confessional, etc.<\/li><\/ul>
- inform –\u00a0<\/strong>convey information, educate, etc.<\/li><\/ul>
