{"id":1389,"date":"2021-02-13T15:58:54","date_gmt":"2021-02-13T14:58:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thebarumfabula.usc.es\/guidelines\/etiquetas-importantes\/date\/"},"modified":"2021-02-28T13:34:29","modified_gmt":"2021-02-28T12:34:29","slug":"date","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/thebarumfabula.usc.es\/en\/guidelines\/etiquetas-importantes\/date\/","title":{"rendered":"Dates:"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you want to tag the dates that appear in your edition, both in the <code data-enlighter-language=\"xml\" class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">&lt;teiHeader&gt;<\/code> data and in your commentary, use <code data-enlighter-language=\"xml\" class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">&lt;date&gt;<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\" data-enlighter-language=\"xml\" data-enlighter-theme=\"\" data-enlighter-highlight=\"\" data-enlighter-linenumbers=\"\" data-enlighter-lineoffset=\"\" data-enlighter-title=\"\" data-enlighter-group=\"\">&lt;date notAfter=\"0092\" notBefore=\"0091\">91\u201392 d.C.&lt;\/date><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several ways to indicate a date, with different sets of attributes, even combining them together, as in the examples above:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><code data-enlighter-language=\"xml\" class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">@from<\/code> and <code data-enlighter-language=\"xml\" class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">@to<\/code>: for definite start and end dates, if we want to indicate a period.<\/li><li><code data-enlighter-language=\"xml\" class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">@notBefore<\/code> and <code data-enlighter-language=\"xml\" class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">@notAfter<\/code>: for dates with&nbsp;<em>terminus ante quem<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>post quem<\/em>but which are not definite. They can be used in combination to indicate a period, or individually to indicate a specific date.<\/li><li><code data-enlighter-language=\"xml\" class=\"EnlighterJSRAW\">@when<\/code>: to indicate a single date on which an event takes place, when this is certain.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These attributes have a fixed format: <code>\"aaaa-mm-dd\"<\/code>. That is: y: year, 4 digits; m: month, 2 digits; and d: day, two digits; separated by a hyphen (-). If only the year is known, only the 4 digits of the year are used. If the year has less than four digits, it is filled on the left with zeros, and a minus sign (hyphen: -) for years before Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The text describing these specific data is free. For example, you can enter \"c. II-I BC\".
